 Why is important to speak English?

Education is very important to improve yourself but learning English also improves the quality of life. You have access to jobs that you could not even take into consideration, you can evaluate an international career and you can live in many countries with the ease of being able to go shopping or negotiate rent for the house.

The benefits they bring in the life of a person’s knowledge of the English language are countless. What is important to understand is that the English language is able to knock down a lot of barriers, including cultural ones.

Here I show you a video with which you can realize that with the English language you can exchange experiences, customs and vocabulary between people from different countries.

How to make a class attractive to young people?

Nowadays, we know that teachers must look for different strategies to get students interested in a subject, and we can achieve this through topics of interest to them.

DRAFT: As part of a strategy that was achieved with second grade high school students, who were embarrassed and afraid to speak English, it was achieved that through videos of social networks of their interest as TIK TOK or Youtube that were recommended to them (with educational topics) they managed to get ahead with the following project.

They were asked to make a newscast in teams (but this time with current topics that were of interest to them). 

One of the suggestions I provided was a tiktok account of a person who lives in the United States, which helped them with pronunciation and tips that students in class may not comment on. 

After some of them watched their videos on the social network mentioned above, several students chose to record videos with tiktok to give their report (in their project), which for privacy I can not share but, all these kinds of activities and give young people the freedom to explore new tools, makes them more participatory and creative.

I hope that part of my experience and reading one of the works I did with my students, can serve as inspiration or support for your school planning.
